Our new variety of Shitake for better fruiting in cold climates.

This winter our breeding team produced a Shitake suited for alpine locations that fruits at a much lower temperature than other varieties. The flavor is robust and the mushrooms have a good firmness. We will see how well they grow in the coming summer heat as well, but expecting they will extend the outdoor growing season by a few months and greatly reduce running costs in our Shroomzilla units next winter at the Minami Alps farm.
